Hey guys, i've had my note 2 for about a year now and i have noticed that there is quite a long delay to return back to the home screen after pressing the home button. I have disabled s voice but there is still a few second delay so i was wondering what i could do? Or have i got a faulty device? :(
My guess is that the reason there's a delay when pressing the home button is due to the fact that it could be re-purposed into launching "Google Now" or "S Voice" by pressing it twice. So it has to wait for a second before it sends a signal "this is a single press" to the OS.
Hi, i have an international Galaxy S3 (i-9300). I recently updated to Jelly Bean via Samsung Kies (baseband version I9300DXDLI5) and there's a change that has been bugging me. In stock ICS, when the screen turned off due to inactivity, pressing either the power button or the home button would turn on the screen and lets me pick up where i left off.

My wife & I both have the s4 Active (1 grey, 1 blue but I doubt that matters). Sometimes, it is difficult to get the phone to wake up (meaning the screen won't come on) when a message is received. Pressing either the home button or the power button don't do anything & then 30 seconds or so it will finally wake.
Ever since KitKat 4.4.0, sometimes when I hit power button to wake tablet up it takes a very long time, sometimes 2-3 presses, sometimes one long press. mostly it's normal. Anyone else have such problem. it never happened on jelly bean
I bought my wife a Galaxy y from t-mobile. I noticed when I locked the device via the button on the right and put the device in standby, I cannot wake up the phone by pressing the home button and get the screen to unlock the device by wiping. Only when I press the home button fot long time and sometimes twice for a long time, I manage to get the unlock screen. Very annoying.
