The Excite 10 SE is the newest addition to the Toshiba Excite tablet lineup. The 10.1-inch tablet is a little late for black Friday but will be offered at the hard-to-pass-up price of $349.99 and will be released, on December 6th, in plenty of time to make it under a few trees. The sales pitch is simple: low price + quad-core Tegra 3 processor and Jelly Bean (Android 4.1).

Toshiba is upping the anti for tablets in 2012 after the lack of success from the Thrive lineup. These newer versions are thinner, sport a better design, and feature more horsepower. We recently reviewed the Excite 10 LE, which didn’t quite impress us, but Toshiba has three newer tabs from Excite line: the Excite 7.7, Excite 10, and Excite 13.
Acer announced a seven-inch tablet that runs Android 3.2 (& Honeycomb& ) on a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. The $330 Iconia Tab A100 offers 1024 x 600-pixel resolution, 8GB or 16GB of flash storage, dual cameras, plus a microSD slot as well as micro-HDMI and micro-USB ports....
Toshiba began selling its long-awaited 10.1-inch tablet in 8GB ($430), 16GB ($480) and 32GB ($580) Wi-Fi only versions. The Android 3.1-powered Toshiba Thrive is thick and heavy, but its Tegra 2 processor, 1280 x 800 display, and full-size HDMI, USB 2.0, and SD connections go a long way toward compensating, says one review....
Looks like Google’s Nexus 7 isn’t the only $199 Tegra 3 quad-core 7-inch Android tablet.
