Amazon hyped their press event for today and had Internet sites abuzz with expectation leading up to it, with everyone guessing what they may reveal. It appears Amazon did not disappoint with the introduction of new devices sure to have a major impact on the world of tablet devices.
The Kindle DX (artist’s rendition shown here), Amazon’s 10-inch offering to the academic set, has been discontinued on the site and is only available from used dealers. Although there has been no official word concerning the DX, the product was reduced from $379 to $299 and the DX is currently out of stock on Amazon.

I just bought a nexus 7 and I'm mainly going to use it for reading. So far I have installed aldiko reader, amazon kindle, adobe reader, and play book is already there. When I try reading PDFs in adobe reader or aldiko, it doesn't fill up the whole screen like in kindle or play book, and it degrades the reading experience.
