Dead phone?!

Hey guys!

My phone died on me yesterday since I forgot to charge it the day before, it was dead in my pocket for 3 hours until I got home.

Without bothering to do anything, I simply plugged my dead phone into the charger and went to bed.

SO here is what happened:

My phone was working totally fine. The battery was running low (red indicator) so i didnt do anything, just put the phone back in my pocket till i got home (which was only like 15 mins since i last checked). When i get home, the screen is black "okay the battery died" i thought to myself. stick the phone in the charger, nothing happens.

For whatever reason my phone went from 90% to dead in under 4 hours. It did this while I was asleep. Woke up and noticed the phone was off. I've been trying to get it to boot since then and it will not fully boot.

It will go to boot animation and just stay there and load the BA over and over.

My phone (ATT SGH-I777) has been acting up lately. Not charging properly. Very poor battery longevity. I changed batteries. I changed cables. I changed chargers. Nothing seemed to work. This morning when I woke up the phone was dead even though I left it plugged in to AC power all night. Completely dead.

I've had my phone up and running on AOKP Milestone 1 and a custom kernel (can't remember the name now) for a few months now. I decided to replace the kernel with Lean Kernel since my phone's been crashing recently, and it was mentioned that the kernel could be the problem (this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...42971&page=135).

What is wrong with my phone? In 45 mins the battery went from 50% to 11%? I was asleep and no apps or any thing on the phone was being used. I tried charging it but it took about 30 mins to charge from 4% to 6%. Also, my mom has the Pantech tablet that came in the phone deal (forgot the name -__-) and i tried using her chager that outputs 2A and it charged a lot quicker. My charger is a 1A.

Hi, my EVO Shift won't charge or turn on after I tried to charging it last night. The battery was nearly dying last night, but I had to leave to go somewhere so I went two hours without charging it and now it won't even charge or turn back on. Last night, there was a blinking light on the phone, which I had never seen before. I put it on a wall charger and let it charge overnight.

I've been using the euphoria ROM for a few months now with no incident. The phone has never given me problems of any sort, well the bad GPS, but that's a known issue.

Anyhow the other night went to bed without charging my phone. In the middle of the night I woke up and realized it was not charging, so I connected the charger and went back to bed.

Basically as the title says, I've bought a "refurbished" one, but I'm not sure whether it's faulty, or whether this is just the average battery life of one of these things!

Woke up at 6am, I used it for about 30 mins this morning on facebook/ebay/bbc news through wifi. Send about 20 txt messages, 10 minutes on the phone. ANother 30 mins browsing/facebook on my lunch break.
