http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi, Anyone other than me having a problem starting darktable? I haven't used it in a couple months to find out when I tried to start it today that it just doesn't. It's hanging on something as the process never terminates and never displays a GUI. If I look in System Monitor under Waiting Channel it displays 'autofs4_wait'. Any help is much appreciated. (note: I tried downgrading darktable with yum and still have the same results.) (HowTos)

I just upgraded Darktable from V1.0.5 to 1.1.1 with the update for F16 that came out last week. Everything works except geotagging. I followed the description given in the announcement on darktable site but cannot get into 'map' mode for manual addition of GPS data.

How to reset darktable 33 weeks 1 day ago

I need a way of reseting darktable to its factory settings. With shotwell it is simply a case of deleting the home directory for shotwell, but there doesn't appear to be one for DT under it's name.

I can't use darktable for more than about 30 seconds as it attempts to load up the library of about 30,000 RAW files from one folder and unsurprisingly crashes.

Hello, I can't seem to find any Darktable specific forums so I thought I would try here. Just curious if anyone has an idea about an issue I am having. When I upload my photos (nikon d700) into Darktable, my jpgs seem fine, but all of my raw files are wildly over exposed. I would greatly appreciate if someone has some idea about this.

I am going to be setting up a friend with SolusOS this weekend on a new computer build. He is coming from Windows and does a lot of photography work. I'm hoping that something like Darktable might meet his photography needs so he can leave Windows behind. Unfortunately, I personally do not currently have anything running Solus to check the repos.

I'm trying to export RAW files of pictures I took with a canon DSLR. The picture looks fine in the Darktable display, but when I export it, it gets very grainy. Is there any way to improve the quality? It seems to me that I should be able to get it looking at least as good as I can with a screenshot.
