Okay, so earlier today I tried plugging my phone into my computer because I wanted to place some music on my phone, but when I plugged it in, I never got the option to turn on USB Mass Storage. I tried unchecking and rechecking the box in the settings > SD card & phone storage part of my phone.
Okay. I am having problems with my usb storage. When i connect my phone to my computer via usb it pulls up as a disk drive right. I recently had a Rom that used "Usb mass storage" to connect as disk drive which gave me a higher level of access. I put the rom zip that i am using now on the root of my sd card using the "USB mass storage".
I expecting this has been asked before, but here we go...
Is it possible to mount the S3 as a Mass Storage device?
I am running the latest Waldorf 11 on my dell opti-plex 280. I have a LG-900 cell phone and am unable to mount the flash card as a mass storage device. I had no problems with the same computer and phone with Statler. I'm running Win XP SP3 and every time I plug the USB cable into my computer, XP displays that the USB is an unrecognized device. Therefore I can not put any files on my phone. Is this a common issue? Am I missing crucial drivers?
I have also tried using HTC Sync Manager but it still will not recognize my phone.
I have been in vacation for a week and when today i turned back home i wish to transfer the photos into the PC, but my phone can't be recognized by my pc or other's. Even in download mode, MTP, USB mass storage...please give me some help!

ok so I went ahead and connected my Samsung galaxy s3 to my computer via usb to transfer pictures and I was uber-disappointed to see that my computer did not detect the phone as a usb mass storage device.
so I've searched the web and had the misfortune to discover that apparently it's not possible to connect the galaxy usb mass storage device like a usb stick which most people have these days
Sorry - I don't see any other thread specifically about this. I just bought an infinity tablet with docking station, and am really enjoying it so far. However, I'd like very much to be able to connect my Samsung Droid Charge phone to it via USB to transfer files, etc., but when I plug it in the tablet won't recognize the mass storage.
Recently I found my old Galaxy S 4G from T-Mobile gathering dust in a desk drawer. I charged it up, SIM unlocked it (I've switched carriers) and I'd like to use it as my go-to phone until I'm eligible for an upgrade. (Why all this trouble? Because quite frankly, even at two years old and counting, the SGS4G is still better than my iPhone.) It's still loaded with Froyo.
But I've hit a snag.
