http://forum.xda-developers.com – CyanogenMod 10 Boot Animation Downloads are available for various tablet and phone resolutions below. Once downloaded, open CM10_bootanimation.zip. Choose your desired vertical or horizontal resolution. Copy the corresponding bootanimation.zip to your devices SDCard. Using Root Explorer or ES File Explorer, place the new bootanimation.zip file in /system/media/. Note: You may want to backup your previous bootanimation.zip as well. Hey guys i am here with some of my work on BOOTANIMATIONS for our Galaxy Y I just picked up some bootanimations and modified them for our Y.

*Tools Required; Root explorer or something like that.

Procedure(Its quite easy and simple;))

*Firstly rename the downloaded file into bootanimation.zip

*Copy it

*Then using Root Explorer go to>> system/media , there you will find a

I am a Noob on Xda-Developers. Please forgive me for my English.

The Android boot animation is stored within one very special file named bootanimation.zip inside the phone’s memory. Change the .zip, change the animation. It’s as simple as that.

What’s not simple is how Android stores bootanimation.zip. For some unknown reason, Android actually keeps two copies of the animation file.

Quick question I have been using (ptmr3) |ROM| Padawan |V1| 9|26 which is great most of all little issues I have been able to solve. The only minor issue is the boot animation has At&t boot splash which other rom i was able to change by using root explorer and manually replacing the bootanimation and fixing permissions I have tried this locations :

/sysmtem/media /proc/1/root/data/l

These CM10 Bootanimations are recolored versions of eioous's CM10 Bootanimation, which you can fine here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1846629 A big thankyou to eioous for letting me use that bootanimation as a base.

To use, Using Root Explorer, or similar, Rename original bootanimation in /system/media to bootanimation.zip.bac Copy downloaded CM_bootanimation.zip t

I have 2 problems changing my HTC Wildfire S (Stock, Android version 2.3.5, HTC sense 2.1, Softwarenr. 2.26.401.3) to my personal needs
