Hello everyone,
Im new to this forum but have lurked for a few years. I consider myself reasonably familiar with android and have installed custom roms on various devices in the past.
Yesterday I installed the latest CM10 Color Nook Rom to an micro SD and on to my wife's Nook Color. Install went great, Wifi up and working and I went to install Gapps via recovery.
Hi I'm new to this forum and new to the nook world. My parents recently bought my son a nook hd for Xmas and he really likes it but as I help him go thru it we see there isn't a whole lot you can do with it and there doesn't seem to be many apps that he can use.
If you have been looking for a NOOK device – either the Tablet model or the Color model – but the price was just too much for you, Barnes & Noble is hoping to help sway your decision to go ahead and grab one. They have just announced lower prices for three of their models to coincide with the back to school season.
Not sure what to do next. I have my Nook Color running CM 7.1.0-encore on an SD card. I downloaded gapps-gb-20110114-signed.zip and copied pasted the entire ZIP file onto the SD card, then put it back in the Nook and powered it back on.
I was wondering if there was a way for me to remove the apps that came preloaded but no functional uninstall button (twitter, facebook, amazon kindle, etc) without rooting it? I rooted my nook color successfully a few times last years, but I'd really rather not with the dell just because it really already has the functionality I was looking to get out of the nook (except these annoying apps).
Hi everyone! For those that do not know I have been spearheading the cyanogenMod nook color project. I am looking for information on the custom firmware being developed here, whether we are developing Android 4.1 builds and whatnot.
I would like to know if there is any github repos on the nook color tablet being maintained, and how kernel development is going.
I have a problem with my Nook Color. I had left it plugged into the charger for 2 days straight, I don't know why O.o, but now it can't turn on. I unplugged it, and tries holding down the Power Button with and without the SD Card inserted.
If I feel the Nook Color, when it is plugged out of the charger, I still feel it warm, like the battery is still charging.
Any solution to this?
Here's the situation
I bought a rooted nook color ( bnrv200) which has a version of CM7 on it already.
I want to erase the current version and load a completely fresh install myself ( my first time by the way.)
