I decided to give CleanROM a try. Prior to this I had unlocked my bootloader and put CM10 nightlies on my One X. I am planning to modify a Motorola lapdock to use with my One X, but CM10's HDMI out is broken.

The cleanrom instructions just say to use TeamWin (which I have installed), and to wipe + install their zip.

This small application allows you to change the brightness of the capacitive buttons (back, home, and recent tasks) on the HTC One X. Root is required in order for this application to work.

I'm new here but I've been learning about custom roms and flashing them to my HTC One X from the amazing ViperXL Rom to CM10 and I was just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to flash Windows Phone 8 on an HTC One X...Maybe its not possible yet but i think the idea would be pretty neat to have it running or emulating on the device right?

So far, I've run ViperXL (first and current ROM), AOKP, CM10, Pacman, Dirty ROM, JellyBam, and LiquidSmooth. What are you guys running? Any kernel and ROM combos you like?

I know what you might be thinking: best CM10 rom and not CM10.1?

But CM10.1 doesn't have the feature that I want, and CM10 does, so I'm looking for a good CM10 rom. Somebody recently mentioned Paranoid Android rom, but really I don't know anything about CyanogenMod. I just know that I'm looking for a rom with CM10.

So, could somebody please suggest a good CM10 rom for the SPH-D710?

Is there a way to lock the orientation of the home screen but keep it unlocked in apps, gallery, browser etc? Just like it did when stock? I can't seem to find the setting. Thanks!

ViperXL Rom Theme Missing 37 weeks 23 hours ago

Hi everyone!

I recently installed the ViperXL 1.0.0 rom andwow is it sweet, especially the theme/skin. Okay to the topic at hand! I've restored from Titanium Backups and now my background and a few small other things that the rom installed are gone. I can't find the ViperXL theme/skin under Venom HUB, Tweaks, or Personalization. Please help I'd like to get it back!

Hey All, I have noticed that my boot animation, running CleanRom, has gone to the cleanrom (different) one. At one point I think it was still giving me the stock samsung one. Is this an issue I should worry about fixing, or no?

Now that the wifi tethering has been fixed in CM10 ROM (which was the only thing that was concerning me from switching over to CM10.)

But how is the battery life of CM10 in comparison to CM9? Can I use it as my daily driver or will I need to charge my phone frequently? :confused:
