I rooted my phone by odin method . Flashing clockwork mod recovery over stock recovery . And somehow I was able to install Superuser.
But now when I try to reboot in recovery it takes me to stock recovery mode not custom recovery.
I tried both recovery and they work for a while and after some time they dont.
Why is this happening ?
Su is working fine and I m on UVLH2 .
So I was originally on MDL. AT&T S4 of course. Rooted it, installed custom ROMs, everything good. But recently it seems to have issues. Seems like Original Android ROMs just refuse to start up like Beanstalk. Shows the Custom Lock boot screen thing, then just restarts to recovery.
I was running cyanogenmod 11 on my gt-i9505 and i decided to install stock gs4 rom (touchwiz).

I am currently running rooted stock rom with HTC Dev unlocked bootloader with clockwork recovery. When I tried to download and install OTA it of course fails. I installed stock recovery, same thing installation always stucks at 1/3. I tried relocking bootloader, i tried un root.
ive just unlocked the bootloader for my xoom 4g (stingray) and went to install a custom recovery and it flashes fight in fastboot then when i reboot into recovey it shows the green android logo laying down then shows the red ! . i have to hold the power and the up volume key to show stock recovery.
why is the custom recovery not sticking. is it because im not rooted?
