When I move something with my laptop touchpad (e.g. a picture, window etc), the cursor keeps on moving when I reach to the edge of the touchpad. This has been bothering me since the first day I installed Linux. For example, I move something with my touchpad, then I stop because my finger has reached the end of my touchpad but the object keeps on moving to the same direction.
hi allI am having a problem with the Touchpad's Cursor , it's not about acceleration or speed , it's about the Cursor itself.for example : when I wanna close the Chromium web browser I wanna move the Cursor the the X button when I do that the Cursor move little bit further the X .it's really annoying , I have tried to adjust the sensitivity but didn't get the result I want
When using my synaptics touchpad on Windows, the driver has the option of giving the cursor inertia (note, not just the scrolling).
I found it a lot less straining to use the touchpad with this feature enabled.
I just upgraded from 8.04 Ubuntu to 10.04. The mouse cursor works fine during login. As soon as the system switches to the desktop, the arrow cursor "image" disappears (remains working ..you just can't see it). The OS will also randomly shut down requiring a re boot.
I am using DragSortListView
https://github.com/bauerca/drag-sort-listview
to have the effect of drag and sort. My Adapter is backed up by Cursor and I am remapping the database whenever there is a drag detected. Now I want to get the effect of offsetting a particular cell depending on the cursor value.
I couldn't find anything on google, so I was wondering if you guys could help me?After installing the catalyst drivers I installed cinnamon via the AUR.Cinnamon loads fine, however, once the panel (and the desktop overall) loads, the mouse cursor flickers and becomes invisble.
Hey all,I just installed Arch on a new hard drive on a Macbook Pro. I am using the subtle window manager. For some reason, my cursor arrow is cut in half so that only the top half is visible. This is the case with all cursors (i.e. the pointer cursor, the text bar cursor, etc).
I just lost my cursor. I disconnected my tablet from my keyboard dock and when I reconnected it my touchpad cursor doesn't show up. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm just about done with Asus. This is the second keyboard this has happened to and this tablet has some of the same issues all the others had. I can't take this keyboard back. Maybe it's time for a Nexus 10.
When typing in Ubuntu my cursor jumps around and its not application specific. It doesn't matter or Im filing in a web form, writing an e-mail or using LibreOffice or Lyx. Im using a Sony Vaio 64bit machine.
i read a previous question (link below) on this subject which indicates it may have something to do with the touchpad settings.
