At least here since the newer g-c-c Alt+Print does nothing except maybe open the Hud.
The only thing that works is to hit Alt&Print at the exact same time, (& I mean exact.
The Hud may still open or may not.
(if the Hud > Alt keybinding is disabled the Alt+Print works, also it's probable a new binding for a window screen would work
Hello,
when I updated to Ubuntu 12.04, I noticed that the print screen behavior had been altered. Instead of "print screen" being the equiavalent of "ctrl-c" where I could quickly paste into a kolourpaint window, now I have to go to a folder and open the screenshot later on.
Print screen simply doesn't work.
Nothing happens. When I go manually it's OK but not with print screen key no matter which DE I'm using.
It was working on 10.10 before upgrade.
Gimp 2.6.7 on FC 11 64 bit with HP Laserjet 4000T.
I can print a photo from Gimp if I use the "print preview" first and then select the print icon on the print preview window. When I don't do the preview and try to print without that step, the printer emits a blank page.
It's been messing up a lot lately, as in, delays several seconds before printing, then once it starts to print, it takes a long time. It use to print as soon as you would click "Print". But now, it's extremely slow and I'm not sure why. It's not that old. Bought it about a year ago and it worked just fine. But lately, the main problem is printing pictures.
Boot problems with 3.2.0.-44-generic (If I remember well, this is 12.04)
Sequence when I boot:
Normal BIOS screen
Boot loader
Brief 'purple' screen
Black screen with mouse moveable cursor
That's it.
I have problem seeing PDF files. Someone sends em a PDF in an email. I save it, open it in Okular or Evince. The PDF comes up on screen with not text, merely blank pages. I can see the text in print preview, and it will print the text, so I know it is there, but it is not showing on screen.Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can put this right?DOn
Online it says to use the xev command to find out the keycode for print screen to xmodmap it, however I don't think we have xev in TC? Any idea how to go about getting the keycode - and is this the best way to map my fn+PrtSc key on my EEE in LXDE?Tha...
How to print in single command/shortcut (like Ctrl+P) without showing the print configuration window?
