If I press Alt+Print screen to make a current window print screen, I see just a blank black image in Pictures folder. Desktop Print screen works fine. Please, help me to fix it.
I want to write a script that changes the window focus, and sends keyboard commands, such as print screen, and arrow keys, to the system. As in I need print screen to capture my desktop, not the script window.
I can do it manually, but it is tedious, as I have a lot of screenshots to take.
At least here since the newer g-c-c Alt+Print does nothing except maybe open the Hud.
The only thing that works is to hit Alt&Print at the exact same time, (& I mean exact.
The Hud may still open or may not.
(if the Hud > Alt keybinding is disabled the Alt+Print works, also it's probable a new binding for a window screen would work
when I updated to Ubuntu 12.04, I noticed that the print screen behavior had been altered. Instead of "print screen" being the equiavalent of "ctrl-c" where I could quickly paste into a kolourpaint window, now I have to go to a folder and open the screenshot later on.
Gimp 2.6.7 on FC 11 64 bit with HP Laserjet 4000T.
I can print a photo from Gimp if I use the "print preview" first and then select the print icon on the print preview window. When I don't do the preview and try to print without that step, the printer emits a blank page.
I have both HP print app and PrintBot app installed on my tablet. They both allow recognition of my HP WiFi printer under the printer selection on the settings tab. I have even tried turning on the nearby device tab. When I attempt to print with the print tab on a website I cannot get it to print. A window comes up to print. I select print and window disappears, but nothing prints.
