Curious newbie question

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I'm new to Linux. Been using Ubuntu and Mint primarily for last couple of months. Since Fedora is right behind Ubuntu at Distro-watch in popularity I was curious and downloaded the new Live CD. After booting to desktop via Live CD, I quickly connect via my wireless to my router with no problem and can see the shared folders on my Macbook and I think all is well and I decide to install Fedora 12. After install is done and I connect to network/internet via wireless I discover I can no longer see or connect to my Macbook on my network. I use the update feature and still can't see or connect to my Macbook on the network, nor can the Macbook see Fedora laptop. What, if anything changes in the network settings from Live CD to install to cause this? Thanks for your time :) (HowTos)
