This tutorial will guide you to install Guest Additions in Kubuntu 10.04. I was installed Kubuntu 10.04 on my Windows 7 via Virtualbox. So far everything is running well. After all, I need to install the VirtualBox Guest Additions on my Kubuntu 10.04 in order to get full screen resolution and other benefits.
Is anyone having trouble installing Guest Additions on VirtualBox 4.2.10? I want to install Fedora 18 (64bit) Guest on an Ubuntu Host and so far so good, except for the Guest Additions. Here is feedback from Fedora OS:
Hello,I am interested in experimenting with crunch bang linux. I am trying to get it to work properly inside Oracle Virtualbox on Windows 7 x64. The problem I am having is installing VirtualBox additions, they won't seem to install properly. I really need it to work so I can run the VM in fullscreen.
Just a quick note for any others who may find themselves trying to max out the 1920x1080 screen on something like a Lenovo Thinkpad w520 after installing crunchbang in a virtualbox VM hosted on Windoes 7.Obviously to get anywhere close to this resolution you've got to install the guest extras, but even after doing this I found I wasn't able to configure the desired full resolution using
