So I downloaded windows 10 TP and installed it on VBox and due to the bad resolution I mounted the Guest Additions Disk and ran the .exe from the run panel using "VBoxAdditions.exe /force" and also set the compatibility of the .exe to Windows 8.

I running CentOS 6.4 in just CLI mode. However, I have a 1080 monitor and the resolution from the CLI interface is horrible. Do I still have to install Guest Additions in order to increase display resolution.

I am trying to install VirtualBox Guest Additions into Turnkey linux on Windows 7. (i.e. Windows host, TKL guest). I am using VBox 4.0.4 and followed these instructions.
It went fine till installing module-assistant but when I mounted the cdrom to install Guest additions, it didn't work.
