Hi, I'm Trublhappn and I'm completely new to Crunchbang Linux. I've dabbled with Linux in different forms before, but only at a User level. Meaning I'm a total newbie. I have no knowledge of coding at all, not even the basics of what commands to input to find out the simplest of things. BUT! I learn quickly.
Hi everyone,I am having difficulties installing the Intel cedarview drivers so that I can get the proper resolution to be displayed on my netbook.
Something I've noticed with every linux distro I've installed on my netbook, especially crunchbang, is that linux makes my netbook run too hot!I usually like to lay down with my netbook on my chest or on my lap but with it being so hot I can't stand having 50-60c heat pumping into me, not only that but the Acer Aspire One AOD257 has a tendancy to shutdown at random when it gets a li

I upgraded from ubuntu 10.04 LTS (netbook version) to 12.04
Hey, I have used #! for about 2 years on my Asus EEE PC 701 netbook. Started with hearing about cruncheee. Searched it, installed it and got used to using crunchbang. Crunchbang is nothing short but a work of art.
Now that I've found a way to enable executing Linux Apps on my portable media, I'm back to looking at Linux (namely the Buntu's) for a alternate and faster OS for my netbook.
I'm looking at Xubuntu and Lubuntu as possible alternatives to Windows 7, but I want to put something on this thing that's debian or (preferably) Ubuntu based, something possibly faster then (or on par with) Windows 7.
