http://crunchbanglinux.org – New to Crunchbang but have been using Xubuntu 10.10 for 18 months on a newer dual boot machine (Dell Vostro)although this has recently been replaced by Mint 13 with the Mate desktop. During this time the only Linux I have had to learn is how to configure a working firewall with UFW. Way faster than XP and other than one Family History programme I run I could dispence with Windows altogether, it fails to run correctly in Wine.We have a 10 year old Inspiron which deserves the occational workout and since it only has 512 mb ram (that's the max it will take) other than perhaps Lubuntu or Xubu (HowTos)
