I have thunar, thunar-volman, gvfs, polkit-gnome installed, and ticked "Mount removable drives when hot-plugged" and "Mount removable media when inserted" in Settigns->Removable Drives and Media. However, automounting still doesn't work.
My SD card is recognised by OS 11.3 if it is inserted at boot up. If I remove it and reinsert it, the devise monitor states 'no devices plugged in'. This is a problem that I have also had (and reported in these forums) with 11.0, 11.1, 11.2.
Every time when I mount a usb device (e.g. mp3 player), first I have to click on the device notifier icon in the bottom right corner and choose "Open with File Manager" in order for it to get mounted. Where can I change this?
I have had a good read through the wiki and tried some autofs configs but I cannot seem to get what I want to work.I have an NFS server ( 192.168.0.10 ) with an exported directory ( /mnt/Files ) that I would like to automount on my local machine under /mnt/Files and to be mountable by any userI have edited /etc/autofs/auto.master to look like this:# Sample auto.master file
# Format of this file:
When I attach USB drive it does appear in Thunar, and I can mount it with mouse click, no problem with that. But I want Thunar to pop up with contents of USB device just after I plug in, no clicking etc.
I had checked "Automount ..." in thunar-volman-settings but it dosen't work.
