Brian Manderville has announced that a new version has been released and the branch of Descent|OS has been updated to version 4.0.1. The distribution is based on Debian Wheezy (7.0) and the focus of the build is stability, rather than development.
The first CrunchBang 11 "Waldorf" development builds are now available for testing. For anyone unaware, these are the first builds to be based on Debian Wheezy sources. Wheezy is the current testing branch of Debian and therefore is likely to experience changes, bugs and breakages.

I'm doing this on Crunchbang Linux, version 11. Specifically, the version using the 3.2 kernel. Crunchbang 11 is based on Debian. This is a 64-bit Virtual machine, running on a 64-bit Win7 Professional.
