The first CrunchBang 11 "Waldorf" development builds are now available for testing. For anyone unaware, these are the first builds to be based on Debian Wheezy sources. Wheezy is the current testing branch of Debian and therefore is likely to experience changes, bugs and breakages.

The reason is the standard activation of non-free software/firmware and some other optimizations.To install a media server so you can use a normal Debian Wheezy and configure and install everything on your own or use Crunchbang. I'm doing this on Crunchbang Linux, version 11. Specifically, the version using the 3.2 kernel. Crunchbang 11 is based on Debian. This is a 64-bit Virtual machine, running on a 64-bit Win7 Professional.
