I am running Ubuntu 12.04 on a HP Pavilion dv6. About a week after setting up my dual-boot Win7/Ubuntu, my laptop speakers began a soft popping sound on roughly 5 second intervals. It's the damnedest thing; the popping will occur at the same volume regardless of the system volume (even when muted).
Music is a big part of a smartphone’s feature set. We’ve already talked about the best available music streaming services, but sometimes music streaming isn’t an option, whether that’s because you’re dealing with a pesky data cap, you’re somewhere without a reliably fast internet connection, or you would just rather keep your music on your device.
Hi,
I'm fairly new with the S3, Google Play and Android in general. I purchased an album via the Play store and am using Google Play Music to play it. I have downloaded it to my device using the 'Keep on Device' option but am not able to find the files in the phone in the sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music/cache/music folder.
Music Player Daemon (MPD) is a flexible, powerful, server-side application for playing music. Through plugins and libraries it can play a variety of sound files while being controlled by its network protocol.
Hi, Everyone...
I looked around quite a bit before posting this issue in Wine regarding static, popping, and crackling in Windows games sound, which, prior to my very recent installation of 12.10 (upgraded from 12.04), ran beautifully all the way around.
The WINE configuration window no longer allows a switch to another sound option (alsa); also, winetricks (at least when I select sound=option)
Does anyone else have a problem with getting their N4 to see music that you have added manually to the device? In google music or amazonplayer that i use both say i have no music on the device when i have. Oddly, i can play it via the file manager but only as a clip rather than through the player applications themselves with all their functionality.
I have had my new RAZR m for a week now and have listened to music through my Bluetooth without an issue. Today I tried to play music and it would show up on the BT as playing but the sound only came out of the phones speaker. I plugged my headphones into the back on the phone and the same thing happened. What's the issue?
Audiophiles annoyed by the lack of gapless playback support in the Google Play Music app will be glad to know Google has added that feature in their latest update released today. Gapless playback creates a seamless transition between songs when listening to an album as opposed to a few seconds of silence.
