CPU fan not speeding up in Fedora 11...

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi all, Any help as to how to diagnose/narrow this down is appreciated. I recently upgraded to Fedora 11 from Fedora 10 (complete wipe and reinstall). In Fedora 10, everything worked fine. After upgrading several days ago, my CPU fan has not gotten above the lowest speed setting, despite temperatures ~70 C (in Fedora 10, the fan would be maxed out way before this point). Even forcing my GPU and CPU to their lowest settings, temperatures won't fall below 60 C (in Fedora 10, they would get down to the 40s). Any ideas as to what is going on? Is there any way to manually force fan speeds until I get this figured out, so I don't risk overheating? (Laptop is a thinkpad T61) Thanks, ~Sirius (HowTos)
