cPanel has released new builds for all public update tiers. These updates provide targeted changes to address security concerns with the cPanel & WHM product. These builds are currently available to all customers via the standard update system. If your deployed cPanel & WHM servers are configured to automatically update when new releases are available, then no action is required.
In the last updates of my CPanel/WHM (automatic updates) I start to receive messages, via email, that the tailwatchd is not running.
If I try to run it (/usr/local/cpanel/etc/init/starttailwatch), I receive a message that tailwatchd is already running
If I use the "ps aux" command, the tailwatchd is not listed
The problem solves only when I restart the server.
It is a bug?
How can
At present, cPanel DNS ONLY does not offer access to the Update Preferences area of WebHost Manager; I believe this makes it more difficult for less experienced server administrators to switch between tiers on DNS ONLY, (i.e., between stable, release, current, edge, and between LTS tiers like 11.30 and 11.32).
we would like to run a server such that clients would not need to log in to their cpanel accounts but rather on the admin side we would install the software, be able to update, and host our client business website domains including dedicated ip and ssl for each client, and then just allow clients to access their script access to add content to their sites

I have ubuntu 11.10 and now has left me the following error in the Update Manager, you can install all updates:
I tried to go to System Settings ----> Software Sources ---> updates, to see how I have configured the updates and I think I have the right ...
Just got idea from this(may not be related though) question however.
Are the ISO images from the official site updated with updates in Core Ubuntu system , like Kernel Updates , desktop Environment Updates(unity), i mean Updates of BASE system including X-org, Office suite, Package Manager , Update manager or Gnome Base Modules, those released in update Branches like precise-Updates branch.
I'm thinking of getting an additional WHM/Cpanel license for a freshly installed CentOS 6.3 server but it isn't a minimal install base so looking to make sure I have all the requirements before install of WHM/Cpanel.
I have a question regarding Perl support requirements for installing WHM/Cpanel.
