The company I work for currently has a cPanel/WHM server for hosting some of our sites & we're looking to add some redundency to our dns. We're looking at setting up cPanel DNS only on another one of our servers but there is some concern about the "cPanel DNSONLY should only be installed on dedicated physical nameservers with no previous content on them.".

I'm new to this forum, also I don't know much about the Cpanel Installation and configuration.
I'm installing cpanel on one of our client VPS server ( Cent OS 6 64 bit ), Earlier there was Plesk panel on the server. And there was some issue on the server configuration, we rebuilt the server and now we are installing the cpanel on our server.
I would like to allow users to connect to one of my cPanel accounts and download files via FTP. I do not want them to be able to delete or upload files.

I have the domain unqhosting.com and I am offering cpanel services. I want to do so when you get to my subdomain cpane.unqhosting.com then you should be able to login but that is the default page of cPanel.
I wanted it since I want a footer link to the login of cPanel so I not only use theirdomain.com/cpanel to login but this could be working for all.

when i run
yum list installed | grep 386
i get 150 packages, but my system is x64, why cpanel installed those packages??
every time i run any install or upgrade from cpanel, i see it downloads both 64 and 386, why?
is it safe to remove them?

but the customers are getting all emaisl again that was on the server.
