Hi all:
I recently days, we are running ocfs2 on our network block device driver. But I encounter 1 issue that when I copy files into ocfs2 filesystem, the linux will crash when copying files. This issue won't happens when I using ext3. For debug this issue, I have installed linux-crashdump and using echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger.
I use linux ubuntu on my laptop to download files, as it is much faster than windows, and because my laptop has a working slot for a network cable which my computer does not.
I'm encountering an issue with Git where I'm receiving the following message:
> git fetch

fatal: unable to fork
The SAs have increased my file limit, but it has not corrected the issue.
I installed wxMaxima on my laptop a few days ago.
The issue is that files with the extension .wxm, that are used with wxMaxima, are identified as a C source files. Therefore, when I double click such a file, it opens my text editor.
When I attempt to copy large files (over 4GB) between two external hard drives, the process fails, telling me the file is too large.
Copying files using Fedora 16 from EXT2 to a NTFS 2TB drive. Discovered that when recursively copying directories of many files, copying stops at file 21842 in each directory... then cp -r moves on to the next directory. No error is given.
Searching the web, found someone else reporting this problem to no avail.
What's going on here?
