Hi,recently I started to notice these messages in the journal and I'm not quite sure how to interpret themJun 11 10:07:29 kaul_mba kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged

I am trying to make sense from the following error generated by mcelog:
$ sudo mcelog --dmi --ascii < /var/log/mcelog
WARNING: with --dmi mcelog --ascii must run on the same machine with the
same BIOS/memory configuration as where the machine check occurred.
mcelog: failed to prefill DIMM database from DMI data
mcelog: mcelog read: No such device
I have a 3 month old Lenovo U430 Touch. I keep getting the following errors in /var/log/messages and the abrt keeps annoying the crap out of me about it. The error seems intermittent. I've also encountered the error when using a SSD. All the searching I've done eludes to an actual hardware error, likely with the CPU or RAM. I found the same message when running mcelog on an Ubuntu live CD.
I get errors at the beginning of Ubuntu startup. But it disappear fast, because of this I am not able to see the errors. Also while shutting down i see some of the errors. Want to know what it is.
Is there any logs to track these errors? that will be helpful to check what it is.
I've been running cachebench -b -x1 -m24 -d5 -e1 (read/write/modify L2 cache specifically) and systester (cpu load) for a while now and mcelog shows nothing.I suspend and resume and mcelog has the same error.This only seems to happen when I suspend.
