Just purchased a new Samsung 24" display, model 2494HM. I need to test it for dead pixels. Because the shop didn't test it, saying that if there are more than 3 dead pixels, Samsung will replace a new LCD display within 7 days.
Google "how to test LCD display" found following link;

I have created a site and on one page it uses 2 divs side by side to display text information. in the left hand div it contains 8 links. these links when clicked load up text stored in separate text files and display it in the right hand div.
The code below was working when i ran it from my mac but when i try to load it off the webhost it fails to execute.

I would like to make a gear indicator in my car with a 16 segment display (PSA05-11EWA). This show "1-5" + "N" + "R".
The common anode is the problem. I think the 4543IC is good for me, but I don't know how connect this with the display. If it works then it will show hopefully the numbers "1-5".
