http://ubuntuforums.org – Ok, as any PSX emulator knows alot of PSX games come in the clonecd .ccd format. I am looking to convert these files into a .iso. As the .ccd files work just fine with both ePSXe and PCSX you may ask, "Why?" My answer: a matter of digital housekeeping. I doubt there will be any huge difference in filesize, but having a single .iso file is more appealing to me than 3 separate files. I currently have these files stored in separate directories under my ~/iso directory, eg Code: ls ~/iso/Breath_of_Fire_3/ breath of fire 3.ccd breath of fire 3.img breath of fire 3.sub What I have t (Hardware)

I have some wma file which I would like to convert to mp3. My situation is that the wma files are in different sub directories. I already have a good script which I found online but its problem is that you only can convert wma in current directory. I would like to edit this script, so I can be able to convert my wma files in sub directories too.

I know that I can convert pdf files to text files one by one like this :

$ pdftotext filename.pdf

But is there a single command that would make that conversion without specifying separate file names so as to convert them all?

I see here, on Wikipedia, that "Wildcards (*), for example $ pdftotext *pdf, for converting multiple files, cannot be used because pdftotext expects only one file name."

I was backing up my home dir when I found many ".jpg.pnj" and ".zip.id3" files. The ".pnj" files seem to be thunbnails for the ".jpg" files I have.

I've got a problem.

I used to be able to run my .img files on the pcsx, but las night i tried to run a file .ccd, and it crashed, after that it wont let me run any other file (even the .img that worked previously)

I tried UN-installing and installing again but it wont do. when I tried to run an .img file, at the terminal appeared the next message: "RGB & YUV not found.

I'm new to Linux and I want to execute one command on every file in a loop:

avconv -i *.mp4 -vcodec copy -ac 2 -strict experimental *.mp4

Can any one tell me how I can do this? I have more than 100 files to convert. I just want to convert them into new files with the same names, but using different codecs. It works for one file but I don't know how to run it on all of the files.
