http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi guys After a quick search I've found the iftop tool that monitors a named interface and using ncurses displays bandwidth consumption in the console, with a graph, etc. It does what I want, but it does not seem to have any output options besides ncurses output in the current console. I'm looking for exactly the same functionality, but instead of having the ncurses display I want to log bandwidth use for a named interface to a file at certain intervals - .csv format would be nice as I need to draw graphs of this data using a spreadsheet. All available linux programs that do this seem to al (HowTos)
