Conky Manager is a graphical front-end which provides options to start/stop, browse and edit Conky themes installed on the system. It is currently in development.

Is anyone having issues with Conky on Kubuntu? I have had vanilla conky & the PPA conky-manager & both freeze my PC & laptop. My pc is a Lenovo D30 with dual 6 core CPU with 64Gb of ram so that's no mean feat. There is no extra power to log into a terminal (via ctl + alt F2) & run top.
I have a new install of Ubuntu desktop on an old IBM T43 laptop, and I am trying to get conky up and running. I've copied one of the sample .conkyrc files from the conky sourceforge page and pasted it into ~/.conkyrc . However, I've rebooted conky several times (killall -SIGUSR1 conky) and it still uses the default configuration in: /etc/conky/conky.conf .
I didn't use any panels for a long time, just openbox with a little tiny conky at the bottom of the screen.
