Confused: Epic 4G internal memory questions. I think Assurion tricked me?

http://androidforums.com – Short story from last couple months. Gmail never updated. Sort of liked that. Then it was impacting work. Figured out it's an internal memory issue. I have had to remove any extraneous apps, widgets, etc. Still with memory problems... Most Google apps eat up a ton of memory. I moved everything possible to the SD card. Drive, Twitter, Music all eat up memory. So I have gotten to the point where I removed all possible apps, and if I have to remove any more I might as well get a new phone. Well, I am finally starting to figure out that the Epic 4G is supposed to have 1 MB of internal st (General)

I have had my Commando rooted since new (M080) and use Titanium Pro for managing the apps, but for some reason, even with as many apps moved to the SD card as possible, I still have a memory issue on the phone.

I have an LG -E405 phone running Android 2.3.6.

As can be seen here, the phone has 1GB internal memory and 384Mb RAM.

When I look at default App manager, this is what I get,

RAM - 231Mb System Memory - 157 Mb. Internal Memory - 378Mb. SD Card - 2Gb.

Also, all the applications I install, by default take up space from System memory.

Hello guyz,

I have a "rooted" micromax A44, an mtk based phone loaded with gb. Yes, It hs very low internal memory (a mere 170mb dedicated for user apps nd its data). There are no roms nor a recovery available. So im at my wits end. I tried these to overcome the problem.

1. changed internal apps (system) into user ones using Titanium Backup and moved them to sd card.

Slighly confused by the internal memory on the S2.

I thought it had around 16GB of internal memory but when I checked...setting/storage/ it shows internal memory as Total Space =1.97Gb Apps 238MB Available as 1.70GB

So this adds up to only around 3.9GB ????

Any ideas where the rest is.....

New to the forums and I'm sure this question has been asked loads of times so my apologies. I did trek back a few pages but couldn't find an exact answer, or it was too technical for me to understand!

I'm having a problem on my phone where I'm updating the standard apps (Maps etc) but it says I'm out of memory. As it's the basic apps it seems to be an internal memory issue.

I just received my 16Go S3 a few weeks ago, and I was very disapointed to see that we only have 11Go of free space, which is very small and even more for a 500€ device... I feel like Samsung just stole one third of my internal memory ...

Being a newbie at Android, I upgraded my memory card from a 4 gig to a 16 gig yesterday and discovered this problem.

This is my first post not had an android phone for long. I am confused about transferring apps to the SD Card. Most of the apps I have downloaded give an option to transfer to the SD card. At first I thought this must be to the external SD card. But it turns out that this is to the internal SD card, but there is no internal SD card.
