WiFi does not work: Intel Centrino Advanced N 2230 wifi chipset (For Dell Inspiron or other laptop):
Fedora 17 default install does not recognize this WiFi chipset because it does not include the needed WiFi firmware.
I have a new S3 and any time it sees a new wifi signal it asks if I want to configure a wifi hotspot.
It doesn't ask if I want to connect to a wifi network, but rather if I want to configure a wifi hotspot.
I have network notification unchecked in the advanced wifi settings so it should not notify me of new wifi hotspots and I have tethering off.

I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate 7600 on my HP500 Laptop, but I want to try other linux distro such as Debian. I have installed Debian 5.0.3 with VMware Workstation 7.0.1 on my machine instead of really installed it.

1.Download vmware 7.0.1 and Debian Lenny 5.0.3 seperately.

I'm trying to set up a WiFi link between two buildings. On one side I've got a regular SoHo (network A) router (Linksys EA4500) and on the other side I've got an Alfa AWUS036H (network B) connected to some Debian box. On the Debian box I can connect to network A and have no issues.
How should I proceed about bridging that connection to the rest of network B?
