IMG tags are not displaying the image in LQ forums for me, despite my ticking the option 'Show Images' in the 'Thread Display Options'. Instead the URL is shown, I double checked that I had used the IMG tags correctly and they are done as they should be.
I'm using the Android library linked above, and I'm trying to read/write NFC tags. The tags will have a format I know of (probably something like JSON). I am able to run the example app and see that the reader is working and detecting NFC tags, but how do I go about actually reading or writing them? The API is a little confusing.
So I had some Samsung NFC Tags setup and work on my S3. I'm using NFC task launcher to write to the tags and carry out the actions. Now when I try to use them on my S4 I get a message that the tag is not supported. Anyone else have this problem? What kind of tags are supported?
I have a Windows 8 and Windows 7 computers. I have an internal office network and we all share files on an external hard drive connected wirelessly. We are trying to organize these files and the tags option in Windows Explorer seems to be a good option.
I'm in a bit of a pickle. Following my own counsel I started using user-tags when working on projects, but now I don't remember how I called some of these tags and this cancels their usefulness. Is there a way to get those names back?
There are just too many posts in this forum where users post code right into the thread without code tags. Maybe they don't know about code tags or how to use them. I feel that it would be very helpful for everyone if users put all their code in code tags.
It's a real pain to read code not in code tags, and it is mandatory for some languages like Python.
I store different variance of the below in an xml file. and apparently, xml has an issue loading up data like this because it contains html tags. i would like to preserve this data as it is, but unfortunately, xml says i cant.
so i have to strip out all the html tags.
the examples i found online tend to strip out the tags AND also the content, which i dont want. i need the content.
