http://www.linuxquestions.org – hello i am trying to configure a huawei E303 usb modem to work with my debian box, no luck so far, i have tried a few how-tos using usb-modeswitch, sakis3g and other software. currently i can connect to the internet using a virtualized windows OS, it works just by enabling the usb device to be exposed to the guest OS, sharing the internet connection and routing through a host-only adapter to the host OS however i want to make it work directly from the host OS using sakis3g, the menu says it is possible to switch usb modes, but it fails to either 'prepare' and 'setup' the modem. i have not (HowTos)
