http://www.backtrack-linux.org – Hi to all, I'm new.. I have just installed backtrack 5r3 in a Hp pavilion dv9000 but I'm not able to connect to the lan.. With the lspci command I find this: 02:00.0 Network controller: intel corporation pro/wireless 3945ABG 05:00.0 Ethernet controller: intel corporation 82573L Gigabit Ethernet Controller What should I do to activate the card? thank you Simone (HowTos)

I try too search with no lucky. So if I do

dmesg | tail and find out that lp0: using parport0 (interrupt-driven). lp0: console ready [root@Juha Juha.Koskiniemi]# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

I installed ubuntu 9.04 version in my Dell System XPS L502X

i cannot connect to the wireless network but i can connect to the wired network.

i dont think my wireless card is detected ..

No video & sound on Compaq CQ61 3 years 30 weeks ago

I have a Compaq CQ61-117TU laptop and I just installed Fedora 11 32-bit.

Sound: Not working at all (although devices are recognized) Video: 640x480 or 800x600 only. No 3D acceleration.
