I need some help fixing the networking on my ubuntu fog server. I tried to add DNS to the networking and somehow got it all jacked up. My interfaces file shows a static address, but fails on startup and I have to start the networking manually, but it pulls a DHCP address. I thought the quickest way is to youtube this!
we have a office with 40 computers and some computers have ubuntu and some computers have windows 8/7 installed and i want to configure a ubuntu/centos server here for networking and i want to record screens of all my LAN computers so anyone can help me which tool i should use and for better and easy to configure which server platform i should select whether ubuntu or centos ?
i justy have configured my dhcp server with static ip. after configuration dhcp server & routers were working fine. but after restarting server network connectivity went off. there are two lan cards but none of them is up.i tried setting up manually ip address again but it remains same.
