SanDisk has been made aware of potential product issues involving a very small percentage of its 32GB and 64GB SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSD cards. Under certain circumstances the cards may lock up and the card becomes inaccessible.
I've got an IcyBox USB hub/card reader combo in my computer, running Ubuntu 12.10.

Hi Folks,
I have just been looking for the best option as far as MicroSD cards go.
Hi, i recently bought a 64GB Sandisk Ultra Microsdxc card for my Samsung Galaxy S III. When i used the Adapter to connect it to my Macbook, i couldn't read/write to its fat32, so i had to format it to something else, so i just chose ExFAT. I put some stuff on it, but now, two days later, the card is suddenly read only?
I have a strange query - on my Dell Inspiron 9300, SD cards always seem to mount as read-only. If I format it with gparted, it will show as read-write after remounting it, but after removing it from the internal SD card reader, or the USB card reader, and reinserting, it goes back to read-only.Any ideas? I don't seem to have this issue on a vanilla Debian install...
