Hello,
I've set up a VPN server (poptop) but upon successful connection, I can't see in the syslog which user logged in.
Hi all. I'm trying to get a pptp server up and running. The server starts just fine, but encounters errors when a client tries to connect.
I compiled sstp-client(sstp-client.sourceforge.net/).And connect to a sstp server,
i think connect success, but my IP is the same as before. Why?Should I add route??
Thanks!!
First i use sudo pon dsl-provider to connect internet.

I need to setup pppoe server for IPv6 on linux machine with RHEL 6.1. When I tried to start pppd, the output as following:
~$ sudo pppd start
pppd:in file /etc/ppp/options:unrecognized option 'ipv6'
Here is content of /etc/ppp/options file:
local
ipv6 ipv6cp-use-ipaddr
As the man document, the option 'ipv6' should be recognized.
I have troubles trying to dial USB 3G connection using pppd.
Everytime I try to run #pppd call provider, it ends up with Segmentation Fault.
modem drivers are installed successfuly, modem is responding to AT commands without issues
kernel support for PPP is included
chat script for initialization AT commands works properly
I tried pppd versions 2.4.4.
i want to set my pppd connections forwards only from one interface (ppp0 or ppp1). how about unit 1 command in /etc/ppp/options file? is this possible by pppd service?

Hello everybody,
I used to log in to my office via PPTP VPN, but on last October 5th I updated my installed Debian Squeeze and it caused my VPN service (client-side) to fail. After this upgrade I'm unable to log in to the VPN server.
