I've always loved stock but flashing it reminded me of the biggest gripe I have with it, its faded colors, which is the reason I flashed Trinity kernel. Anyways, how can I change my color settings/gamma etc, with stock rom / kernel? Is it impossible without custom kernel?

I have a yakjuzs device purchased form HK, and my brother has his nexus bought from the play store directly.
The system white color on my HK phone is perfect and normal, where as his nexus has a slight yellowish tinge..
Questions :
1. How do I check the color tone of the phones system colors? (so that I can compare mine and his phone's color tone)

coming from a galaxy nexus, it's time for a change. and I'm between the nexus 4 and One X+. keeping in mind the dangerous back glass of the nexus 4, I'm turning to the one x+. but is the 1GB ram vs the 2GB a big difference ? does it have the same acceptance from the developers as the nexus does? (custom ROMs, kernels etc.) any opinions accepted

I've had every nexus including the 7, love em all, but the features on the note 2 with the SPen.... *DROOL* I could see me actually documenting my schedule... which would be great. hello, i have been using Cyangenmod 10 for a while and then switched to Slim Bean but noticed that there was no setting in the settings for Color multipliers tuning and Color gamma tuning is there any way i can get this on another roms? the category is called advanced setting and the icon is a square like the settings icon but with a gear in the middle

I'm trying to create a color picker that uses only one slider. I know this won't allow for all colors and I won't be able to adjust alpha, hue and saturation. There are many examples of color pickers out there. One common color picker involves using a square and a linear spectrum. The square allowing you to change hue and saturation. I just want the linear spectrum values.
