I am very new to Linux i have assignment to take offline backup in linux and restore it to new database oracle 10g?
Help me out any script of it and steps i will be very thankful

I have Oracle 10g R1 installed on Windows Server 2003. I have two instances of databases. These databases were running and these two databases have backup and archive log was active for both. The OS went down, after the OS has been repaired/recovered, Oracle 10g database does not work and its services does not available in OS services location. Could any one help me to solve this problem.
