Hi guys, I'm not sure im posting this in the right place or not. Im a world of warcraft player and i need to use Mangler in place of vent. I installed Mangler and one of its requirements was pulse-audio. I installed pulse-audio everything worked great except i couldn't get sound out of wow if i started mangler first and vice-versa. I then found a version of Mangler that worked with alsa.
Dear Colleagues,
I have issues with Skype since I installed Ubuntu (12.4) before few weeks.
The Mic is not recognized.
cmus is a small, fast and powerful console music player for Linux and *BSD. If you prefer working on command console,it could be a good choice, because it even works without desktop environment. It supports UTF-8,can be controlled via UNIX socket using cmus-remote command.
I just installed cmus after a Lubuntu 12.04 install and now my wireless refuses to work. There is a bug here in connection with cmus. I tried to just install dnet-common, without actually configuring, but cmus complained about lacking a dnet config file, and wouldn't work until I configured dnet.
I just installed Pulse Audio over my ALSA installation. Is there a Pulse Audio equivalent of alsamixer that I can use for tasks such as changing the microphone gain?
Hello. I've just completed a fresh install of lubuntu 11.10 on a hp mini 1116NR. Everything works fine except the mic. no matter what program i test with, the mic is not working, even in skype....the speakers/sound work just fine.
i tried pavu control without success. when i installed pulse audio and played with the inputs, it killed my speakers and didnt help the mic.

by-path/
controlC0

pcmC0D0c
pcmC0D0p
pcmC0D1p

Any help here? I can't get either mp3blaster to work, nor CMus although Rhythmbox has it all figured out.
