Hello. I has a problem on CM10. If I change the number of levels to more than 6, automatic backlight still works with only 6 number of levels, just ignore other levels i made. Why ? Any solution ?
I am starting leaning android development. I downloaded adt-bundle-windows-x86 from the android site. Now when I open the SDK manager that comes with the bundle it enlists a number of API levels. My phone has ICS. But when i saw wiki for the same it seems we can have more than one API levels for a single code name.
On my old Droid X, custom roms left the option there to set your own thresholds to ambient light as well as custom brightness levels. This was necessary, due to its weird reporting of ambient light to begin with.
On CM9 on the X, that would be under Display in the system settings. With CM10 on the S III, there's no such option.
Well this is something that happened to me in all Jelly Bean roms I've tried, while wearing headphones and turn up the volume, it shows only an increase in the first 3 levels, after it has already in max volume, the other levels not work...is there any way to edit these levels?
I'm looking to do some automatic benchmarking of different optimization levels on a few of my computers, but I don't see a clear way of actually doing this with PTS. In some of the published tests I see different test identifiers with -O0, -O3, etc, but I don't actually see how PTS is changing the levels of optimization between the tests.

When I use the brightness changing buttons Unity changes the brightness by two levels each time to create a nice effect. However, I only have about 10 different brightness settings and so this effect has caused a reduction in brightness settings to 5.
On this machine, I can adjust the brightness of the display by pressing the Fn and Home/End buttons on the keyboard. After booting into Waldorf, only 3 levels of brightness are available. However, before booting into the desktop, there are at least 5 levels. There are even 7 levels in Windows XP (dual boot alongside #!).Any idea to make finer adjustments possible? Thanks in
