I successfully configured Apche httpd server for load balancing and clustering od multiple tomcat instances on same machine. Now I need to use IIS web server instead of Apache server. How can I proceed? How will I configure IIS server for tomcat clustering?
In the next couple months we are looking to add Failover and Load Balancing to our environment. We will have 2 servers that are Hyper V Hosts. We are looking to have an IIS App server and SQL Database server on both of the hosts. That way if one box fails, the other will be there to take it's place. Now my confusion comes from some google searches I have been making.
Hi
I want to have a simple HA Clustering for Fedora 17.
I tried latest pacemaker guide, but it seems to have problem with pcs in Fedora 17.
I am a newbie, so wanna know what is the simplest clustering tool i can use that can provide me HA + Load Balancing.
Please, if possible, not so complicated ones.
Any help appreciated.
I have one major domain but the server spec behind it is not good enough. Hence I want to relay the traffic, in particular php-mysql queries to multiple smaller servers. How is that normally be done?
(BTW I wonder how much traffic or number of php/mysql request a normal setup on ec2 micro instance can handle? )
I did have a look of EC2 load balancer.
We have WebLogic installed on two separate RHEL 5.6 servers. An Apache web server instance will be installed on each of those servers which will be configured to listen on 80 and 443 and redirect any requests from 80 to 443. SSL will terminate at the Apache web server and traffic between the Apache web server and the WebLogic servers will not need to be encrypted.
I need to implement Server Clustering between USA Server and Asia Server.
Is there any IPLC (international private leased circuit) needed?
or Only internet connection is enough?
I have two server, one at USA and another at Asia. Both are CentOS based server.
I don't need CDN, just Server Clustering (File + Database).
I have been reading many posts on serverfault as well as on other sites regarding all these.
What I understand is, Multiple A records(round-robin dns) can be used for both :
Load sharing (round-robin, but NOT load-balancing).
First of all sorry if my question would be not relevant, I'm quite beginner. In short:
I have 2 physical machines -> first(Windows Server 2007, Apache 2.2) on the second machine esxi installed to host virtual machines . I have been converted my physical machine(1) on esxi(2) and in the next step I would like to deploy a load balancer between the physical and virtual machine.
I have a questions about load balancing configurations. Maybe someone already asked this question but I didn't find something similar on the web.
The Actual Configuration is .
