We have a Hyper-V 3.0 Failover Cluster (2 servers) each running Windows Server 2012 RC. We have Shared Storage (HP P4300) which is reporting no errors and is working just fine as either a standalone disk or witness disk within the cluster.
Hello,
can someone please suggest me in configuring the mysql db on redhat cluster, I have few questions.
1. where do I have to configure heart beat links, and is there any file in the redhat cluster that we update it to use these ipaddress and these interface on the node.
2. I am configuring 2-node cluster, active/passive, I have added service group.
I've got an odd issue with a SQL 2012 cluster. The cluster itself uses FC shared storage, and generally works perfectly. The SQL service works, and failover occurs as expected.
The issue I have is that the inactive node occasionally tries to access the shared storage.
We have a cluster with multiple ubuntu machines which are connected to a shared SAN storage. Initially we were using OCFS2 as file system but we were hit with so many issues and we couldn't find proper documentation or support therefore we have decided to move to another cluster system.
Can someone please shed some light on this for me?
I gather that it is possible to use Hyper-V live migration without the need for a Cluster Shared Volume.
I am planning to use redhat cluster, gfs, drbd to create a highly available iscsi storage server.
will they work? any online documentation available?
pls kindly advise.

I am trying to setup a failover cluster with two nodes. After running the validation tests, the storage sections had many warnings. The next step after creating the cluster with two nodes on the same domain is to add storage. I right click on storage and choose "add a disk", then I get the following error:
No disks suitable for cluster disks were found.
