I am looking for advice on how to optimize a ClearOS Enterprise 5.2 (+) install for disk i/o.
For example, I installed my ClearOS on a thumb drive. I am seeing that the thumb drive flashes a LOT (disk activity).
Maybe it's logging settings, or filesystem settings, both, or ?
In reviewing a Linux or BSD distribution, I try as much as possible to list all of the distribution’s features. For me, that means enabling, configuring and using said feature.
