I have set up a web server on a separate VLAN and configured an object for the webserver to allow tcp port 80 communication, the access list and access group is also set up. But I can't reach the server from outside.
I have been googling and looking at answers here, but none of them have allowed me to access the server.
I need a little help in developing a config for our ASA5505. I'm an MCSA/MCITPAS but I don't have a lot of practical cisco experience.
Here is what I need help with, we currently have a PIX as our border gateway and, well, it's antiquated and only has a 50-user license which means I'm constantly clearing local-host throughout the day as people complain.
I have just setup an F17 box as a firewall. Everything is working fine, except for one minor catch: In short, the firewall box itself cannot access any services (eg, dns, ntp) unless I explicitly open up ports for them on the wan interface.
I've been asked to setup some remote access to a NAS drive. The NAS drive will sit on a VLAN inside a network that uses a Cisco 891 IS router as gateway. The charity have no SSL-VPN licenses for the Cisco.
Hello, Firefox 16 released on 9 October has been removed from Mozilla servers due to a privacy leak. As we know, a couple days ago Ubuntu updated Firefox to 16.0+build1-0ubuntu0 due to multiple security issues. But, version 15 is unaffected. Should we downgrade Firefox from 16 to 15 e.g. with Synatpic (Package -> Force version)?
I have an existing full-disk encrypted LVM2 setup from Ubuntu.
I would like to install openSUSE 11.2 into an additional logical volume inside the encrypted LVM.
openSUSE discovers that there is an encrypted LVM, but it is not able to ask me for the password and to discover and use the LVM volume groups inside, and to add new volume groups inside the LVM there.
Hi all,
I think the title says it all: I accidentally removed my encrypted swap partition using gparted (well, not entirely accidentally :-\". I thought it was corrupted and wanted to recreate it, but realized too late that it was actually fine but just looked different because it was encrypted..). Does anyone know what the proper way of recreating it is (Ubuntu 11.10)?
I have a cisco asa5505 as my rtr/fw(10.1.3.254).
