Basically, i installed cinelerra-cv, and it downloaded and installed fine, but where is it? Normally i can press the launcher button and type in the name, but its not showing up!
But that led to the problem that the package "libmpeg3cine" could not be installed because some files were already installed by package "mpeg3-utils". The package system seemed broken because of a defective package.
Here is a simple patch for Cinelerra 4.5 from Heroine Virtual
The Source code is located here http://sourceforge.net/projects/heroines/
extract the archive and place the patch in the cinelerra-4.5 directory, open a terminal in that directory and
patch -p1 < cinelerra.patch
basically the speech_tools were not up to gcc standards
I have googled for information relating to how to import or convert and load AVCHD (mts) HD files into cinelerra. Most of the threads are pre 2012 and being as its now nearly 2015, I am hoping things have improved.
I have Cinelerra installed and I have some problems:1) No sound: I use OSS2) Preferences Windows is too large, and I cannot see the buttons at the endAny ideas? I have googled and some people say to use gconf-editor and uncheck contrain_y through Apps\compiz ..... but I have not the entry compiz.....
