Hey everybody :)
Everytime I try to go to Facebook.com, Google Chrome will crash. What I mean by crash is that Google Chrome will just close. I try opening Google Chrome again and going back to Facebook.com and it'll kill Google Chrome again! Why is this happening? Is this a bug? By the way, Facebook.com works fine on Firefox!
I am facing some serious web page rendering issues with Chrome.
It is more prominent during javascript based animations and stuff on websites like youtube.
I have tried removing chrome using (sudo apt-get purge google-chrome-stable) and then reinstalling it. But the problems still persist.
The same webpages work correctly on firefox on ubuntu and chrome on windows.
So, I've been using Google Chrome (-stable) as my main browser for weeks. I just ran an update which grabbed a new version, and all of a sudden Chrome won't launch at all.The new version is 20.0.1132.47-r144678I've tried removing and re-installing it (and managed to get my package manager messed up in the process... but I think it's working now). No change.
Trying to install Google Chrome on my fresh Ubuntu 12.04 install. I have run a full apt-get upgrade and apt-get update on this system before installing Chrome. I downloaded the 32-bit deb package from www.chrome.com and opened it in Ubuntu Software Center.
Hi all,
Ubuntu 12.04 desktop 64bit
Just installed Chrome after removing Firefox which crashes continuously after start. But I couldn't figure out how to make top tags on Chrome larger (please refers to attached screenshot).
Please advise how to config it on Chrome OR on Ubuntu?
