Last weeks release of Googles Chrome for Mac OS X and Linux gave the upstart Web browser a major boost in marketshare according to Net Applications, which tracks the browser habits of 160 million unique visitors each month to the 40,000 sites it monitors for customers.
After the latest update to Google Chrome for Android, Chrome seems much smoother now. Also, websites seem to load faster. Much faster than my computer loads them. I am glad that Chrome finally became as smooth as the stock browser on my Galaxy S3.
Google's Linux-based Chrome operating system still hasn't made an official appearance, but rumors are coming out of China of early devices running alpha Chrome and some Linux fans have made their own version.
