The Infinity Cell is a kinetic charger for the iPhone that uses your body’s movement to generate electricity. The current prototype for the Infinity Cell is a crude 3D printed rectangle, roughly the size of a pack of cigarettes, linked up to the iPhone with a cable.

This simple tutorial will show you how to charge ipad, iTouch, iPhone (4s) in Ubuntu via USB port. I’ve written a post about charging ipad on Ubuntu, that’s only for ipad and ipad2. There’s a project ipad_charge on github.com that provides charging control utility to enable/disable charging of an Apple device connected to USB port.
Has anyone ever seen a pie chart or some thing that breaks down the power usage of a single charge based on: display, cpu, gpu, wifi, ram, bluetooth, LTE, 3G, ssd, etc etc for some modern equipment particularly iPhone, iPad, and Macbook Air and Macbook Pro and corresponding battery size for each device?
I would be very interested in seeing these numbers.
Hi,I am very new as of yesterday with Linux and running Mint 17. I did try Ubuntu for a min.also with no success. My computer is not even detecting my iPhone 4s ios7. I can only charge it via USB port. I have searched the internet and I cannot do it on my own now. I see libimobiledwvice and downloaded 0.7 tar.I am not sure if this is correct? Or even how to install a tar and where?
