I played around with this app after reading about it online. Has some great features but the best is being able to painlessly change the boot animation screen. Give it a shot. Hi i tried to change the boot animation of my SG2 but the thing is that i tried to download bootanimation.zip into system/media

but when i restarted my phone blank screen came up no animation itself

Is there any problem with bootsamsung.qmg ?? please help me out ......:confused:

I make the boot animations used in Beanstown's "jelly beans" rom. I have been working on a new one but I keep getting a white flash between each loop of the animation. I have had this problem before and couldn't track it down.

Hi Guys,

Used the ROM Toolbox to change my boot animation several times successfully (over numerous months). Last change, on the next reboot, I get the Google splash screen, then black. The phone actually boots fine, but you can't properly wake the screen any more.

Alright, I'm still having issues getting my boot animation to work. Under ICS it only plays the second part of the animation and the audio. Under JB it plays all the visuals but no audio. Under JB it works sometimes, and by "it" I mean the boot animation all together!

I've tried all the tutorials I can find.

For anyone who wants to switch out the stock boot animation in any ROM, this is the "S" Boot screen pulled from the Koodo 4.0.4 Update.

This will replace your stock boot screen on any kernel as it is not a "custom" boot animation

I am looking around at what other people besides me have as their boot animnation? I currently have a circling android world boot animation iirc. I am going to be changing it quite frequently though TBH. Am just not sure which one to use permanently right(or at least for the time being). Also, have a buddy that is having problems changing their boot animation even on GingerSteem?

I'm trying to install a boot animation zip on my Desire that I got off the net. It's likely for another model, as the PNGs were 480x854. I changed their resolution to that compatible with the Desire, 480x800. I zipped it all back up using the STORE method. I "push'ed" it to /data/local using SDK (adb) terminal, as I did with all my boot animation changes.

Screen off/wake animation? 41 weeks 2 days ago

I used to use Mimicry ROM which has a cool screen off animation by default. Anyone know what the animation is called? I switched to the Andromadus test build with Jelly Bean by Flinny but I miss the animation.

Is there anyway I can put the animation on this ROM?

I have searched high and low for the answer to this question...sorry if my search criteria sucked.

I have unlocked, rooted, and flashed nameless on my HTC Desire C. I have also flashed the HTC Desire C Customiser at forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2048217 and changed the splash screen and boot animation.

But I want to change the splash screen to my own.
